Welcome to our Investors area and thank you for your interest in our Company.
This introduction is for me an opportunity to take stock with you of our achievements since the strategic shift that we undertook at the end of 2020 and to detail the prospects available to our Group following the partnership concluded with Sanyou Medical.
Indeed, in a complex economic environment punctuated by numerous upheavals, Implanet has been able to transform itself and establish itself as a key player in orthopedic surgery. We first acquired OSD, strengthening our position in the spinal implant market, then sold our Knee range to the MENIX group, resolutely establishing our refocusing on this segment of activity.
Proof of the relevance of our positioning, our solutions have attracted the attention of the number two Chinese manufacturer of medical devices for spine surgery, Sanyou Medical, with whom we concluded a commercial partnership in June 2022. , technological and financial.
The benefits of this agreement are already palpable, with the commercial launch of the first innovations resulting from the synergies and technological know-how of our two groups and the support that Sanyou Medical provides us as a major shareholder.
We are now impatiently awaiting the commercial launch of our JAZZ® range on the Chinese market, the world's largest market in terms of volume, and for which the submission of the CFDA (Chinese Health Authorities) file is still planned for the end of this year.
The capital increase which will be submitted to your vote during the Extraordinary General Meeting of November 16, and to which Sanyou Medical intends to contribute significantly, will thus strengthen this alliance while ensuring the financial visibility necessary for the commercial development of our medical devices and to securing the renewal of our CE markings and marketing authorizations throughout the world.
I hope that this letter will help you understand the rationale for the operations we are carrying out and to appreciate the Company's prospects for the last months of 2023 and for the year 2024.
